Well the majority of people within the USA don't have ACA policies, rather we get our health insurance through our place of work. So, the repeal won't impact everyone. Nor will the repeal benefit most, as the problems within the USA are far beyond ACA.
The main focus of the ACA was to increase the amount of people covered, and there it succeeded in reducing those without insurance to all time lows. However, the big problem that ACA never truly addressed head-on was billed and out of pocket cost of medical services and medicines (something we all know hurt real badly). Copay and deductible creep is also a huge issue, we get the bulk of it as we use lots of services.
It was 20 Million of the most uninsurable Americans out there that were covered by the ACA/Obamacare.
I have insurance through work and I live in a state that excludes discriminating against preexisting conditions, that's why our premiums were always about
twice as much as the national averages because insurance companies were forced to cover everyone for the same prices.
