very sad news ... hopefully the nerve block will still be tried (maybe they are just confused and slow). One treatments I don't think you mention is tricyclic antidepressant.

The doses are below that used for antidepressant effect (150 mg to 300 mg); therefore, the incidences of adverse effects, including cardiac and sedative effects, are lower.
I think this was used before the anti-seizure med you tried became more predominant.
