Hey all, I've read a bunch of old posts on here many from years and years ago. I just came across the proposal of using vitamin E enemas to help with uc... Has anyone tried this more recently and had any kind of success? I see theres limited published data to support this method. Just curious on any user trials as I read in about these different methods.

Broncofan - was looking into the same thing recently. From what I've found, it didn't seem very widespread in terms of use... more anectdotal than anything. And the fact that I had to kind of make the mixture (emptying Vitamin E into purified water into Enema bag) and that there wasn't something ready to use made me a bit leery of it

How much vitamin E does it call for?

JimC - that was my thought too. I haven't seen it really been pursued as a major healer in the scientific community, so I was questioning the validity of some of the posts. But then again, there was really nothing to be gained from it so it really had ne curious.

Pmedic - from what I've read the method is to start at 800 iu, and exponentially increase by 800 each day for five days and then level off.
