I'd second seeing a doctor or nurse to see exactly where the pain is from. See if your primary care physician's office can have your doctor or available nurse look at it. An urgent care facility is also an option. I wouldn't put it off and would recommend getting it looked into.
Apriso and other anti-inflammatory mesalamine-based medications can cause kidney or liver inflammation. We're at higher risk of pancreatitis and that medication has reported incidence of it. We can get kidney and gall stones. Ladies can get various uterine pains. That's a jam-packed area of the torso with lots of potential pain causers.
Is your pain a point-pain or radiating-pain?
Is the area sore to the touch?
On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the worst) how bad is your pain?
Not radiating but sort of a general achy feeling in the area of my kidneys. I would say its like a 2 on a scale of 1-10. Not terrible but just there and noticeable. It's worse in the morning, I assume from laying down. I have an appointment with my GI on January 4th so unless it gets worse, or I have other symptoms, I think I am going to wait and see her and mention it.
