Am I right in assuming that The card doesn't give the discount when used with Mail Order Pharmacies, such as Express scripts?

If anyone is using this and bypassing their mail order places, I'd like to discuss this.

Mail order is just another pharmacy, so they should be able to process a discount card. It is just like a second insurance as far as pharmacy checkout is concerned.

The difficulty would be getting them to input the card into their system and remembering to run it each time. By the time it arrives in the mail, it is a bit late to point out that they forgot the card.

When I pick up at CVS, about half the time, I have to remind them to run the card before I pay.

TY, DB. So, You've used it for long term meds from a mail order place that is insurance selected?

I had no problem at a local pharmacy, it's the insurance selected mail order place.

i called the one my bc/bs had and asked if they could enter card, and they said yes, but i had to call after they got prescription and before it shipped.

i decided to stay local. i like control.

Control is nice, but my post was more for people who are forced to use a mail order service.

I'd call yours and ask. There's no reason they cannot apply a discount card like any other pharmacy.

TY for your responses. I was looking for someone that has been doing it successfully for awhile and can tell me the how, when and where.
