Gross Question But..

I've been asked before it I see pus in my stool, but honestly I don't even know how to tell the difference between mucus and pus? I've had mucus of all different colours, clear, white, brown, green, red... or is it just that I'm confusing mucus with pus? This is gross but it's not always just in the toilet, sometimes it's the only thing that "wipes" away and there's ALOT.. Anyway, If anyone could just give me a tip to help me differentiate between the two! Thanks

Hahaha, all I really got from that was an entertaining argument. Just kidding, it helps a little I think. I think I am passing pus now, but not sure. I was doing good for a bit my symptoms seem to be slowly coming back again, Ill have like 2 bad days, 2 good days, 2 bad days. So annoying haha, or I could have just ate something that threw me off.. who knows! I'll keep an eye on it though, seems like pus is more yellow or greenish, which is what I have been seeing today.

Yes I've had both mucus and pus, and they do look different. The ulcers can cause excess mucus and they can also bleed and produce pus. Pus tends to have a yellow greenish tinge and is less translucent.
