Hi all
I am a new to this blog and a new UC sufferer.
My western doctor so far only has got to a diagnosis; it took 6 months of colonoscopy and many tests .. this is because I did not have significant symptoms at the beginnings. He tried antibiotic guessing it might be diverscular, he says UC but needs one more colonoscopy.. I am scared to go onto steroids.
I reseached Qing Dai ..it sounds worth a try...so I bought a small bag o Isatis Tinctoria powder ( labeled Qing Dai) .. I am not sure that it is the same as Indigo Naturlis. But hesitating to take the first mouthful at this stage.
I observe that this thread has gone quiet.. for a number of years .. Why ? I would like to know how the early users of Qing Dai have fared ... on long term treatment ... over one year ?? Is there any comments on this from the members
I am happy to call USA or anywhere to discuss privately.

It is still in my regimen. A good 4 years should have passed since I started it. I take 1g every couple of days. More of it makes my stools thin and sticky. However it is a powerful weapon, especially helpful with blood. One time that I decided to stop it I had a relapse of bowel haemorrhage. You should give it a try.
