GaviLyte prep

Anyone ever try this prep? The prep is a jug and has the mix in it. The jug is the biggest container I've ever seen or had to drink. I've done probably 10 full scopes and this is ridiculous. It's bigger than a gallon!

How is this safe? How is this supposed to make me feel better? How is this NOT going to irritate my colon! I had a diff prep back in Feb and that one made me so sick. I'm literally in tears and am on the verge of cancelling.

My doc said I'm at the point where I need to meet with a surgeon and he's getting me info on a clinical trial he's doing. So it's bad. But this is just a nightmare. Idk what to do. I'm literally in tears. As if this disease isn't bad enough. It's like adding insult on injury.

Ugh and you didn get sick? I'm reading people don't finish I or actually get sick bc it's too much to drink. I'm going to call my doc and see if I can just do two small bottles of magnesium citrate instead. Isn't going to hurt to ask, right?

I just don't want to NOT be able to finish and have it mess with the prep and have me not be able to do the procedure. That's my worst fear!

Hi Quincy, not too sure. It says that I have the N version, whatever that means. I put it next to the gallon of milk and the container is indeed larger than the gallon. No way am I doing this.

I have a weak stomach in general, and it did make me nauseated. That's why I started earlier so I could drink a little more slowly. You could also consider starting the clear liquid diet a little earlier to help facilitate being completely clean.

I've done Suprep, and I approached it the same way as the gallon. The can't think of name of the last prep I did, but it was similar to Suprep. I almost cancelled my scope since I was not passing clear liquid that morning, but I rolled the dice and ended up ok. For THAT reason, I agree with Quincy on preferring the gallon.
