Any other regular joggers in here? Have you ever found jogging to aggravate your proctitis/UC? I try to jog about
every other day and I sometimes feel like I aggravate my proctitis after a run and sometimes not. I have been doing really well up until last Friday when the pain suddenly became a lot worse. It's pain like in my upper butt crack/sacrum area where it's always been. It's mostly after bowel movements and sitting for long periods but it does seem to come and go at other times. No blood or mucus that I can see thankfully, that's been absent since I started mesalamine, just more pain the last week. I have been doing the mesalamine enemas every night for almost two months. My right hip has also been hurting off and on since then as well. Its not the hip joint. It's like the top of the hip. My hip hurt before when all this started but it was my left hip. I have my second followup next week with my GI and I feel like maybe something else needs to be added to the mix? Or in your all's opinions just keep the mesalamine going for the time being? I was just wondering about
the jogging and wondering if I should take a break for a week or two and see if things improve.
