Plant proteins?

Anyone use plant protein powder? Tried vega one last night def not good then I made a mistake and tried beef protein isolate but it had rice bran in it holy eff that was a colon cleanse in a bottle anyone else have issues like this?

I take Pea Protein powder (natural flavor) made by Now Sports. It contains only protein with no other ingredients -- no sugars, no flavors, no colors, etc. As you can imagine it tastes like dirt, but I' accepted the fact long ago that eating isn't about flavor anymore... it's all about getting the nutrients I need survive and to heal my gut. So I just pinch the nose and chug.

I recently began taking Bone Broth protein as well. The brand I take is made by Dr Axe. Again, I opt for the natural/pure flavor to avoid any unnecessary ingredients that may irritate the intestines.

I believe that the protein powder has been a key piece of the puzzle for me to get into remission, gain some healthy weight, and feel like myself again. Good luck!
