You're funny, Richard.
So, what you are telling us is that we ought never to recommend what is working for us unless there have been controlled studies already done?
Then, what really is the point of a board like this?
We should all just sit back and wait for the researchers to find the cure?
Why?
Just for the record, let me state emphatically that I think that everyone should continue with their medicines as prescribed by their doctors.
I may be wearing a mole around my neck.
I may even look silly to you.
But, right now I'm at the gym. My body fat is 13 percent. My doctor says I am his healthiest patient. He, too, thinks my approach is absurd. But, we have a mutual respect and understanding. AND, he tells me over and over again that I should keep doing whatever it am doing. He can't explain why what I'm doing is working. (Silly nutrition and exercise!) But, as absurd as it is the traditional measures all say I'm healthy. Or, as he said last time I saw him, "You have the body of a 27-year-old - with colitis."
And, for the moment, that has calmed down.
I'll add one more thing. I take my Apriso regularly. But, when I was doing Apriso alone when I was first diagnosed in 2010, it calmed things down from 30 trips to the toilet a day to 10. Without elimination of aggravating foods and natural approaches, I'd still be there - or on a medication that has lots of side effects and that will eventually stop working.
Instead, my life is freaking awesome!
How are you doing, Richard?
Now, who wants to help me name my mole?
