Sounds crazy--- team has to get their act together. However glad you are home and hopefully on the way to feeling more normal. Let us know how you do with the Humira.

Update..Yesterday I took the loading dose of Humira (160mg) and on
opening the box at the hospital I was upset to find four 40mg syringes, and NOT the pens which I had been expecting. This threw me, but I had to go ahead and use them. I had a doctor with me who explained that whilst he couldn't administer the medicine he could help and advise me, and so he watched and cheered me on while I injected the four needles into my stomach. I don't think I could have done it without him.
What I really wanted to share though is that even though my hand was shaking and at one point I felt the ground shift, I didn't feel ANY pain and I injected four times into my stomach. I guess what this means is that the syringe is possibly a lot less painful than the pen, and so for people thinking of taking Humira they might want to think about
that.
