Hi guys
I have a problem remembering stuff
I'm programmer so when i learn new codes I forgets them the next day,
I am on antidepressants I don't know if my depression is the cause
Please help cause I rather die then not being able learning new stuff...

What UC meds are you on? I know steroids, like Prednisone, that are prescribed during UC flareups can create a brain-fog for us, which totally suck! I'm a Technical Writer for a software company and it involves researching and writing about complex topics and that brain fog certainly made it more challenging!

I haven't been on anti-depressants, so I cannot comment there. However, I know a number of regular posters here either have used them or are currently using them, and they might have more information on them than I do!

Which anti-depressants are you on and at what dosage? That would be very beneficial to know!

I take pentasa suppository 1 g
For the depression i take cymbalta 60mg

depression and short term cognitive deficits (especially concentration) are well established

As does the anxiety that coexists with depression.
Have your vitamin D and b vitamins checked for sure. Are you properly hydrated and are you eating well balanced.....and with that suggestion, have tou recently eliminated carbs.

Well....your brain needs carbs to function.....keep that seriously in mind! It does not do well when breaking down protein based foods for carb energy.

Why am I saying that.....simple body functioning. Your body and brain will take it from existing sources.

And I'm going to mention basic hydration.
