For those of us who can't handle dairy, but love ice cream. Let me be the first to say, the new non dairy Ben Jerry's ice cream is amazzzzzzzzzzzinngggggg!!

I loved Cherry Garcia when I was younger and was afraid it would wind up like peanuts and cashews, an ever distant memory of mine of snacking pre UC past.

The non dairy is made with almond milk, and it tastes better than the original! Little on the pricey side, but for us UCers, we deserve a nice treat every once in awhile! Highly recommend it!

Nothing more summer than icecream, and ben & jerry's is one of the best!

I love the non-dairy version of Chunky Monkey! Avoiding nuts right now due to flare but definitely plan on having some when I pull through!

So Delicious brand makes some excellent dairy-free ice cream options as well, from almond, soy, coconut and cashew milks. The cashew milk ones are the best texture!

If I remember right, SO Delicious brand doesn't use carrageenan (sp?) while Ben & Jerry's does. Something to consider for those avoiding it.

I can't have it cos it has Almonds, and I can't have Almonds, or most nuts, but I bet it's great...

Hey, I have discovered frozen yogurt!! its soo easy to make yourself, you just buy a good quality Greek yogurt, add a bit of sugar, stir in one tsp of vanilla essence..Jeeeeeez its soo yummy I cant imagine anyone not liking it, and more importantly its free of horrible additives.

Actually, I have a great recipe for Avocado Ice cream if anyone wants me to look for it...its dairy free of course!!

I bought a little electric ice cream maker for about $20. It makes about a pint of ice cream in about 20 minutes. I got it at bed bath & beyond but amazon probably has them too. To s of great dairy free & sugar free recipes online. Pinterest !!!!
