Should I reschedule

I am scheduled for a colonoscopy tomorrow. I am worried because I am coming off a symptom diagnosed diverticulitis attack. I seem to be having bizarre side effects from the augmentin or flagyl prescribed. I have had the usual bloating, but also insomnia, muscle pain and now urethral burning. I did check with my GI about the antibiotics and his PA said go ahead because sometimes they helped with UC flares also. I have been eating a very light diet, but am worried about getting through the prep and the risks involved if the diverticulitis isn't cleared enough. Advice?

Yes. I talked to a nurse at the surgical hospital today and she said I could skip the antibiotic today since the prep would take it right out. I'll find out through the scope if was really diverticulitis and what to do next. I think it was all brought on by undertreating my proctitis.
