Spicy food cause me bad problems, even mildly spicy. A glass of milk or a milkshake would end me, but cheese is fine and I can tolerate some of the Zymil type cream if I have very little. Pasta is also a no-no when I'm flaring. Yoghurt is fine. Anything really fatty, such as sausages, when I'm flaring are bad. I also steer clear of "roughage" such as salads when I'm flaring. I tend to stick with bland meals with chicken, ginger (I find that really helpful), rice etc. I also used to believe fish was great and used to steam it, but a couple of times I had a bad response, and I think it's the difficulty with knowing how fresh it is, so I've moved over to frozen fish and canned fish.
