Very wise words about
the inconsistency.
So just looking at my reports - in 2006 I first got diagnosed with moderately severe proctosigmoiditis. Via colonoscopy. In 2015 my 2nd colonoscopy he wrote on report with the images proctitis in remission if I'm reading his writing properly. But then in my actual letter he said biopsies show signs of active inflammation in the rectum & histology etc suggests ongoing mild proctitis.
I don't actually know what much of that means lol. Is it weird the report says remission but then letter said inflammation? Does this mean mines rectum mainly? I wasn't actually in a Flare then was a routine check & guess that was 2 years ago now anyway. Who knows what's going on down there now with this flare.
My new GI has suggested just a sigmoid scope because I've been flaring for a few months now longest one ever. Blood/mucous improving but I said urgency is still an issue & I also have more unpredictability vs just the mornings which isn't great for anxiety. So I'm having that in a week. Oh & I also have underlying IBS. Ahhhh the joy
