Successful with Humira but not Remicade, anyone?

Hello everyone,
I've been on this forum since DEC 2015 the date of my UC diagnosis and here is my first post.

Currently flaring and on Remicade for about 4 months. Remi worked for me for 7 weeks and when I went to 8 weeks intervals, it stopped. My doctor switch me to 6 weeks intervals and I just had an infusion 3 weeks ago but don't see any results yet so I'm back on pred 30mg. I'm also taking lialda, 2-4 pills a day, Imuran 100mg, vitamin B12, D, probiotics. Quit alcohol, processed sugar. Tried Paleo, grain free for 5 months without any positive results.
Also had a abscess surgery two weeks ago, so it has been a fun year so far.

My next step is to go to Northwestern hospital GI doctor for second opinion before starting another biologic which probably will be Humira as I already failed Entivio after trying that for about 4.5 months.

So, did anyone switched to Humira from Remicade and had any success?

Thanks Ipoop, I will run this by my GI. Are these approved for UC already?
