Hi Nourse, sure the group is :

Almost 20 thousand members and that topic has come up several times. Go over to the search box on the left and type in 'cannabis' and you'll see what I mean.
As far as the dilemma with strains and their medicinal benefits, I'd go to a site like "Leafly" where there are reviews and ratings for strains based on their specific positive attributes. This is a search for anti-flammatory strains there:
https://www.leafly.com/explore/symptoms-inflammation
Good luck......there is pretty much a plethora of positive feedback on cannabis for inflammation, so I feel pretty secure in the fact that it CAN help. What I am not sure about is how specific one needs to be in selecting the proper strain.
If I continue researching and I decide it will be a perfect adjunct therapy, I may get my card and learn to grow it here. May be a fun hobby? I have a friend who grows 6 new organic strains per year and he is a wizard with this. A true artist !
Thank you so much...lot of good research you got going on there! Very helpful.
ipoop, I 100% agree, its all a crapshoot (most accurate term I can come up with, try not to use it)...however have heard incredible things about
the healing effects of really good CBD oil. Of course what really good CBD oil is is anyone's guess...perhaps if I do as much research as Margie (lost her name here...not showing up) I would find out. Lot of work, lot of experimentation....all of this.
