Just wondering if anyone else felt a little “off “ or slow after taking Remicade?
I catch myself forgetting things that I would never forget and just can’t focus well. It’s weird. I used to take Adderall in my teens early 20’s but almost feel I need to get back on it.
I’m a 33 male diagnosed in June was a runner healthy active and the pow!!! Got diagnosed with UC in June. Pred for 2 months and finally now on my maintenance dose of Remicade.

I'm usually foggy for a day or 2 after infusion but I haven't noticed anything beyond that. Have you talked to your doctor about
it?

I don't get any fog from remicade. The only UC med that does that to me is prednisone, and the brain fog from it is bad.

I’ve been off prednisone for about
3 months so I feel like it shouldn’t be that. I don’t want to say anything to the doctor because he will just take me off Remicade and it working awesome.

i am also a runner who had newly acquired colitis. The prednisone was a real fog for me, however the remicade doesn't impact me mentally in any way, other then reducing my symptoms and making me feel happy.

I can't imagine he would take you off remicade but he may be able to pinpoint something else causing it. I have had some lupus effects from remicade and my doctor thinks staying on remicade outweighs any side effects in having.
