A lot of people are DIY'ing how they consume ginger, but there is a specific way to free the 6-gingerols and lipids from the root, while eliminating the abundance of fiber, and not destroying the compounds with heat. In short: blend it, filter the fibers out, mix with warm water or milk, sweeten, consume. Real easy. Read the thread and please talk with your doc first because ginger can complicate other medical conditions.
To answer your question, capsules are a no-go. They contain dried ginger, and the drying process destroys the 6-gingerols and also does not reduce the excess fiber or free the lipids like blending/juicing.
What's the point in mixing the extract in warm water? Why not just cold water?
