9 weeks waiting for biopsy results.

Good evening, I had a colonoscopy on 10th of October. Ibs/possible IBD, biopsies were taken and I am still awaiting results. I have phoned the hospital 3 times over this period and have been told results are in his tray. I am getting frustrated now. Has anyone else had to wait 9 weeks for results. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks

9 weeks!!! No way. Knowing me, I'd go in person and demand to see the doctor to get the results.

Hi, I know I would but the hospital is an hour and a half away! Even if the results are normal they should still have let me know, surely? I'm thinking they may have lost them 😡.

give me their number - that's a load of crape ! so you didn't talk to the person who did the scope afterward ?

what are your current symptoms ?

Sounds like the lab work was done, but the pathologist that has to sign the report is MIA

It did show on my colonoscopy lnflammation in rectum, I have had blood in stool since then. I just want to know what's going on.
