So I finally am giving up on VSL3. It is getting more and more expensive and I'm not sure how much it does for me. I would still like to take a solid probiotic though. I hear UFCC is a good solid one. So what is your experience with this. Also can you open it up and pour it into a cold drink? (that is how I take my VSL3)

Happy New Year!! Interesting article. I have a few packets left but a box is like $100 and now researchers think not to take it. Ugh. Money down the toilet...literally. Okay good read, thanks!

I take them with the Genuine Health Advanced Gut Health. I also give the UFCC to my cat...small amount twice a day in her wet food.

The UFCC is enteric coated, so i would suggest taking them at bedtime on an empty stomach.

Thanks Q. The genuine advance gut health sounds new. I thought you used to take a different one with the UFCC... Ruerteri or something like that. Thanks so much for your help! Happy new year!

I did...Renew Life primadophilus reuteri capsules, but I cant get it any longer. The Advanced Gut has reuteri in it. It comes in a 15 billion and a 50 billion. I take the 15. I highly recommend that one to start.
I alternate at bedtime....2 UFCC/1 AGH, 2 AGH/1 UFCC. I get them when on sale. I should, however, get the 50 billion and use just one. My husband also uses the 15 billion, but whilemhe was on h. Pylori treatment, he took the 50 billion. Always at bedtime.

UFCC is ok, but I do prefer the 80 Bilion (Colon care). It seems to be far more efficient for me, so the extra dollars between the too are worth it! But anyway, Renew Life are the first probioitic that had any effect on my condition. I'm on it since a year and half and I think I'll stick with this brand forever ;)

Thanks climbsnowgirl. I'm thinking like everything else it is individual and trial and error. Either way I am making a note of this b/c I am tired of paying so much for the VSL and need another option.
