Treatment works for a month and then stops

I am 17 currently and trying to just live a "normal" life. I have been on lots of different treatments, I'm currently on remicade. However, it seems to have stopped working again. My doctor hasn't told me just yet what they are going to do. I don't know if they will try using remicade again or a different attack. I just don't know what to think.

there are other biologics, and in the future there may be even more effective treatments.

it might help right now to use some probiotics and eat anti-inflammatory foods.

you can hope for a long and lasting remission. some get this.

When I was on Remicade, I was getting an infusion every 6 weeks. In the beginning, I think the effectiveness didn't last for the entire 6 weeks but after 4 or 5 months it seemed to last for the 6 week period. Maybe it takes months for the intestines to heal?
