My biopsy report has come back with cryptitis and crypt absess formation with acute and chronic inflamation. Being sent for medical management back to gastroenterology hope i get some treatment soon. Are these quite normal results for ibd thanks you all have helped a lot in past with my questions

Yes, common biopsy findings for a UC patient. Not conclusive UC without more correlation though. Suggestive of UC, certainly.

What would normaly be the next step in diagnosis and would i have to wait before i could be prescribed some meds to help

If you've had a colonscopy, biopsies, and a stool test for possible infectious causes then you should have a diagnosis. That's assuming all of the above are conclusive and not shades of gray/uncertainty. A diagnosis = treatment. Call and ask.

Im being sent back for medical management so hope its a posh way of saying give treatment thanks for the help its good to have someone to ask
