I took uceris, but never entocort. I would think uceris might be an option for you as well. I had a pretty good experience with uceris compared to prednisone. Uceris is entocort but targeted to the colon. Unfortunately at the end of the taper, I was back at square one. On the positive side, it sounds like things are pretty mild, you have the option of going the direction of biologics instead of steroids if you desire. That said, I would probably try the entocort if I were in your shoes. The problem is, what is the maintenance plan after that? the same? That may not work considering you've been doing that and you're unstable, you may take entocort, finish the course and go back to square one. I think you should be prepared to consider a biologic, or some other form of treatment, if things degrade once you stop entocort. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but you need to think about
the possibility. I am happy you were well for your trip. That's a win in my opinion. I hope the short course of entocort does wonders. For me, the side effects were much more manageable. btw, I remember you from the past and I am happy to hear you've been doing so well
