Late Humira Dose

I won't be receiving my humira injection till tomorrow which is 3 days later than scheduled. I usually take it weekly on a Wednesday. Should I take it tomorrow and then as normal Wednesday next week or count this week as a missed dose and just take it next Wednesday? Thanks.

Take it tomorrow and then resume your normal schedule: Wednesday next week.

Why? When you take your loading doses of Humira, you take a bunch of doses together with the goal of getting your blood concentration of Humira up to an ideal therapeutic (healing) level. Being a few days late is no big deal, assuming you take the missing dose and then resume the normal schedule. You shouldn't skip any doses (no missed doses).

Seconded. Just met with the GI's nurse and did my loading dose, and she told me to take it if it is 3-4 days late, and call the GI to check in otherwise.
