Next ten years

Guys/girls,

Where do you think we will be treatment wise in ten years?

Cure?

Better treatments?

New mild/moderate treatments?

Very interest question...
I think also that maybe there will be more biology medicine.
And i think this not the best direction...because tnf and nf kb not the root cause of the colitis. Ok can be good effect if you control tnf and nf kb but they are not the root cause...
But medicines producer this kind of medicines are very good ...they are very expensive and they can maintain the illlnes...

I don't see a cure.

I'd hope within 10-years that there would be testing/profiling at diagnosis that predicts which treatments are appropriate for which individuals. Right now, it's all guess work (trial-and-error) but I know with other diseases they can tell who is most likely to be a severe case versus a mild and so forth. If they know from the getgo then it'd save new patients a whole lot of frustration taking many months or years to control UC with an appropriate treatment.

They'll be more treatment options available giving us more hope.

I hope within my lifetime there's a cure, but I am highly skeptical that would occur.
