Something a bit different.
e coli toxin,coffee,peanuts,meat lots of other food contains oxazoles.
How to get away from this stuff seems difficult.

this would also be a direct path to inflammation that is an immune response and not an autoimmune response. interesting.

i wonder if damage is mediated by thickness of the mucus layer

The above indicates I think that activation of the Ahr causes inflammation.

Here is my old Ahr thread which most of the studies indicate that we need to activate
to control inflammation.

Gee so which is it,docs,if I am reading the above studies correctly.

It would be interesting to know which foods contain oxazoles and make a try to see if some improvements occurs when avoiding them. Hard to find this information. Do you have a list?

Still driving me nuts.
Everything else I read seems to indicate a need to activate the AhR, and colitis
people are low in tryptophan metabolites.
