Glad you're still doing well. We've had lots of moms deliver happy and healthy babies on every class of medications, including biologics like entyvio. In the end, the most important thing is to keep mom healthy and stable throughout her pregnancy by continuing her UC treatments for the best outcome for her child. There's small risks in taking your meds during pregnancy and post-partum (regarding breast-feeding), and something you should discuss with your gasteroenteroligist and obstetrician specialists. Pregnancy can be very uneventful for us with UC, more worrisome is at times we can flare during pregnancy or post-partum (as there is a lot of hormonal and other changes going on within a woman's body throughout that process that can sometimes trigger a flare). Should that occur, it's important to do what's needed to treat mom's flare for the best outcome for her child. Otherwise flares can cause pre-term births with complications and extra challenges.
