Well health insurance has negotiated rates with various individual pharmacies on the cost of meds. Does your insurance have a good negotiated rate? Who knows.
Nothing saying you cannot call multiple local pharmacies, tell them your med and dose, and ask what today's cash price is without any insurance being used. Then you'd know. You can ask if they'd accept goodRX or have their own discount program (some do).
Certainly the local pharmacies (in my area CVS, Riteaid, Walgreens, Walmart) can all potentially have different list prices for a given medication. Not sure the price variance from the high to lower cost pharmacy. You could findout easily enough with a few phone calls *shrug*.
Canadian drugs are likely cheaper then anything you'd findout from the above recommendations.
