Pregnancy with Ileostomy or after J Pouch

I can't think of anyone who has had a child after jpouch or ileo here, but I think you would have more luck on j-pouch.org or uoaa. There's just so few people who have had surgery and continue to post here... Most people have surgery and move on, barely to be heard from again.

I had my daughter after getting my Jpouch. I had a fairly normal pregnancy. I knew from day one seeing the Ob-GYn that I would need a C-section. My main issue was gaining weight and as the baby grew there was a ton of pressure in my Jpouch. So I did have some urgency issues at the end. My main problem was preeclampsia at the end but that didn't have anything to do with my Jpouch. Now I have a perfect 22 month old who keeps us very busy. She's my miracle baby and I don't plan to have anymore. Good luck to you!
