The Suprep prep kit is the worst

The Suprep prep kit is the worst. It is so nasty. Just had to say it. Trying to chock this stuff down. One down, on my second cup now. The struggle is real. This is the last time I use Suprep! This is by far the worst prep for a colonoscopy I've ever done.

some of the preps are flat out disgusting. I had always used the Miralax prep and before that was using Osmoprep, which is a bunch of giant pills and a ton of water you have to drink in a short period of time

That's weird. Seems like that's the one people say is the easiest. I did prepopik last time and that one was really easy. I'd definitely recommend doing it next time if you can.

I agree, suprep is the worst (had a colonoscopy today) ....my prior colonoscopy I used the prepopik which was much easier, but my doctor was not happy with the results

Well, I got through it. Thanks for letting me vent and sympathizing. The colonoscopy went well this morning. I guess the news was good. Only the left side of my colon is flared this time. Unfortunately this means I'm back to doing an enema every night but my GI said no prednisone and I can stop taking the Uceris when script runs out. So glad I don't have to take prednisone, well, so long as I can get better with the mesalamine alone.

I received good news too regarding my colonoscopy. But I owe it to Qing Dai. My doctor did not recommend it to me, but he could not discount the improvement he saw. He actually said “keep up the good work”.

Glad it went well for you guys! Met with the surgeon today and we are doing mine next Tuesday... got the prep (Bi-Peplyte) which I only start at 10 pm the night before (procedure is at 1:30 pm). Hoping for the best.

Glad it went well. I have a scope July 16, doing GoLytely, which has been the best option for me in the past, though still very unpleasant. He actually told me I could eat a light breakfast the day of the prep and clear liquids the rest of the day, so I'm excited about that! Not eating for a full day is really tough on me.

Suprep is all I know, I just will myself to get it down. The worst is hours later, I burp and can still taste it. Blech.. Any Grape flavored drink is forever ruined for me.

Just typing about it now is making me gag so I'm going to stop hahaha. Man, this disease sucks sometimes turn
