Has anyone had pain/blood in sigmoid w/o rectal symptoms

Hi, I am 33 and was diagnosed with UC in late 2015 (histologically confirmed with biopsy), then hospitalized in late 2016 but after that I was in stable remission with no blood, pain and normal stools until about three months ago when I landed in hospital with perianal abscess.

During (surgical) abscess treatment in hospital they also gave me large doses of NSAIDs for several days that seems have kicked me out of remission and started a flare (but it might be that something was wrong already few days before I got abscess as I started to feel fatigued). After surgery and with ongoing flare I had quite hard time with frequent bloody, mucous bowel movements with never-ending urge to defecate but mesalamine suppositories + tablets somewhat stabilized the situation in a few weeks time.

However what I am struggling with until now is minor constant pain in sigmoid area which some days are stronger and some days weaker. I also have bright blood at the tail end of stools but they are mostly formed and I don't have any other trouble with BM (1-2 per day). I use 500 mg mesalamine suppositories over night and day and also take 2000-3000 mg mesalamine tablets per day. It appears there is no inflammation in rectum part but something is wrong in the sigmoid and I can't get it fixed. My GI doc prescribed me mesalamine enemas few weeks ago but I was unable to buy them as they are all sold out and waiting time is few weeks to get them from manufacturer (yes it sounds stupid but not the first time in my country). I am planning to get colonoscopy but that may be few weeks ahead.

What troubles me is this pain and blood from sigmoid part. Has anyone of you had similar problems with what appears to be inflammation only in sigmoid part of the colon?
Have you had bright blood with BM that seems not to come from rectum but sigmoid part?
Is it even possible to have UC inflammation in sigmoid part but non-inflamed rectal part?

Ask for retention enemas. 4g for sure.
Ask also for an antispasmodic....dicyclomine is what I use.
