Going to schedule Barium test for this week then hopefully surgery #3 ASAP.All thats left surgery wise is Dr to close up loop and push back in???? isn't that correct??? they don't stitch
opening they let it heal by itself.Almost to the end.

i had my test the day before my procedure. I was really scared about
it because i had read a lot of crazy stories, but mine was pretty uneventful. My 3rd step was basically scheduled as a resection in the hospital schedule. They don't
open any incisions. I woke up with a little piece of gauze poking out of my stoma. I didn't really have a lot of pain, but nothing moved for a while. They told me I couldn't go home until there was a BM, but about
24 hour passed and i wanted to get going. They said I could go so long as I didn't feel nauseous or uncomfortable. I was about
to leave, and the urge hit. Sadly, the urge for me came quite frequently for the first few weeks. It's decreased a lot since then. I went a lot more than I had to in the beginning because of gas & not being able to tell the different between gas an stool, but now I am a pro. You will do great. it's an easy procedure compared to the others. Learning the ropes after takes some time, but it's a new life without drugs and doctors, no more worried about
"can I", more doing what you want, less worrying about
your limitations.
The 2nd page in the story in my signature goes through my closure, and the pouchogram.

Glad to see you in high-spirits and joking about
it. No meds, huh?, does not compute?
