Oh gosh, anus problems after surgery can be troublesome. With the right creams, you can get them under control. I doubt it's a fissure, as those are extremely painful. I've dealt with my share of fissures pre-surgery. Since, none. I would recommend you go see the surgeon to have them take a look. That's the quickest way to a solution, especially if you're uncomfortable. If you're OK, you could try some OTC stuff. Depending on the level of itch, it could be a hemmie, yeast, or ? The best thing for itch is probably betamethasone clotrimazole cream, but it's not OTC. There are other things that are OTC that could help. Like ILEX, calmoseptine, Lotrimin, Miconozle Nitrate... but it's hard to treat if you don't know what you're dealing with. The bottom line, when I was healing, I would try to use a bidet, or wet wipes, and I was keeping the whole area too wet. I ended up with a yeast infection. Now I am more careful. zeasorb powder is good for drying. You need to get into a routine once you figure out what works for you
