I could be very comfortable with 3 bathrooms instead of 4 if there was one bathroom on each floor. It's more about the accessibility than the quantity.

Agreed. However, having said that, if there is more than 1 person in a house it is handy having another bathroom on the same level as the full bathroom. Meaning, when my husband is taking a shower or bath, then I can still dash into the other bathroom if I am upstairs when the urgency hits.

We've done one bathroom for 39 years.....no kids, but it's worked amazingly. My husband is the one who can hold it. Thankfully.

But when he is in there doing whatever other than a BM....I'll give the warning and eventually it might come to "now....get out NOW!!!!". Only once have I had to use it while he was in the tub....ugh.

Thanks, quincy! smile Pumpkin will have lots of room to run around, with no traffic to worry about (I'll still be out there and watch her). She loves being outside. smile

inside the house = 2 actual bathrooms -

outside the house = 2.5 acres partially privacy fenced, lots of trees, shrubs, and outbuildings - nuff said smilewinkgrin

She turns 7 this year. smile She is my guardian angel, for sure. Always stays close when I'm sick.

Three toilets just for you? Hopefully they're evenly spread throughout so you can always reach one in time.

When I lived with my parents in Germany we had two bathrooms. One was upstairs and close to my room. It was always available for me. But even then I sometimes didn't make it up the few stairs in time.

Now I live in a house with my husband and only one bathroom. When I was really sick he setup a bucket with a toilet seat next to the bed haha

Yeah, it's a little excessive for just me, but I'll take it! That is sweet of your husband.

I just went grocery shopping for prep day tomorrow. My cart was filled with t.p., baby wipes, A&D ointment, popsicles, lemon ice, juice, veggie broth, ginger ale and excessive amounts of Gatorade. Lol.

I feel like I could make a point to use each one in the next day. Having more though, means cleaning more bathrooms, and making sure each one is supplied with toilet paper, soap, towels, cleaning brush... congrats on the move!

We are incredibly fortunate to have 2.5 baths for two of us (and four cats). My husband is one of those perfectly regular people who LOVES "a good poop" - and thankfully has a great sense of humor about my issues.

It makes me SO HAPPY to have my own bathroom (with a bathtub) so after a horrible bout of tenesmus, I can then soak in a bath - the only thing that gives any relief.

I hate staying in hotels now for that reason - when I've been flared up, I have not been shy about using the hotel bathroom in the lobby while he has occupied the one in our room :/

I grew up in a super small house with four of us to one bathroom - three of whom all had GI issues. Looking back, I had no idea how we did it. I wouldn't have been able to function if I'd had UC then.

cross yr fingers I get the apartment I just applied for -- 2 bathrooms just for me!! one in the office ( I work from home most of the week) and one in the master bedroom. it would be my dream.

If a realtor was smart, and really knew us then they'd take us to the bathroom's first. If tv networks really knew us then there'd be extreme bathroom makeover shows.
