Says he's been in med free remission, but then also says he was in a trial for FMT. The odd part is, we all know you wouldn't qualify for a trial if you weren't experiencing symptoms. People's idea of 'what is remission', or what is tolerable vary a ton. I am sure a lot of people do a lot of treatments, and live with various degrees of symptoms and don't bother treating it any further. Some living with symptoms we would never consider remission, or even a good quality of life.
As for stem cell treatments. It's exciting, but there are risks. I knew some people who had stem cell treatments for other conditions and had zero results. It's not a cure-all. Just like any treatment, it may work for some and not for others. I have seen people want to dump their life savings into traveling to get these procedures, and in reality, it's possible you do that, and have no result, or have short lived results. Is 10 years of savings worth a month of feeling "eh"?
www.closerlookatstemcells.org/stem-cells-and-medicine/nine-things-to-know-about-stem-cell-treatmentsIt is obvious that there is a ton of money to be made by charlatans saying they can cure anything and everything with stem cells. People like us don't know what to ask, and we all hope for miracles, we want to believe there's a cure... it's very easy to take advantage of us. Someone could inject me with anything and call it a stem cell and I wouldn't know the difference. I would be very careful doing this type of thing outside of a legitimate trial environment.
