The frustrating part when something new occurs, is determining whether it is due to a medication or whether it is not. Easy to assume that the medication is the cause. At times, there can be another problem that happened at the same time (Like Tristan1974 says). Correlation does not necessarily equal causation. Certainly check out the low Testosterone thing.
There's a lot going on right now, you're abroad, and you're a new UC patient. Wait to you get home, see what medication options are available within your home country.
I'm not sure if:
1.) You are worrying in advance, before you want a child.
2.) You have been trying and unable to conceive a child.
Only #2 is a problem that warrants further testing.
