Too many enema medications?

Is it possible to do more harm than good? I’m doing cort enema/colo cort at night and Canasa once a day or after the cort enema. Is rowasa in the afternoon too much?

That's fine. There's really no such thing as too much at UC dosages, you're not going to overdose or anything.

Just the same old flare since the spring. Not resolving as well as I’d hoped so wanted to mix things up

Hi...you have mild proctitis as your diagnosis...what is the extent location and has the inflammation level changed?

My inflammation is just in the rectum, can’t remember how many centimeters. Everything looked good over the summer on my scope but I was on high dose prednisone and felt great. Off prednisone not so much.
My doc feels I have more IBS symptoms now. I disagree. She started me on rifaxamin to try that. When I go for my appt I want to ask for a scope.

If it's just within the rectum, they might be able to do a rectoscope in-office. No prep, less hassle then a colonoscopy or even a flex-sigmoidoscopy. You can always ask. Only downside is no biopsies. I know a flex-sign can take them.
