You can use a notepad and pencil, MS Excel, etc.
An elimination-diet is always a good thing to try. Essentially, eat the same thing every day, for a series of day (i.e., yogurt for breakfast, tomato soup for lunch, and chicken and potatoes for supper) to get your baseline in symptoms, and then mix it up and add one new thing and see how you react and the impact (if any on symptoms). Sometimes it is easier when there is less variables than if everything is 100% different on a daily basis.
