IS this an interal-hem? Blood in boxers

This morning I had my usual, daily 2 bms, solid, no urgency or discomfort and then immediately got my coat on and headed out to the garage when I suddenly felt that wet butt feeling. Uh oh, about-face and marched back to the bathroom. Discovered I had a big blood spot in my boxers, cheeks all wet with blood. No warning at all. Threw out the boxers and used a bunch of wet wipes to clean up the blood. Fine since, no more blood. Weird it just leaked out like that. Again, totally normal day otherwise, no worse UC symptoms. Had a couple instance of blood on tp when wiping this morning, which is not unusual, but no signs the flood gates were about to open up.

This happened to me once before, randomly about a month back. Tossed the boxers and had time to shower then though. No other episodes of leaking out the old bung hole. It's all or nothing (no spotting in boxers or anything).

Does this sound like an internal-hemi? I have no pain sitting, reaching, etc as I would expect fro a classic-hemi.

If this is an internal hemmie, you may be at the beginning stages & this is why you are not experiencing any of the lovely symptoms associated with them. Go see your pcp & get checked. Sadly, I hope for your sake its hemmies & not the other rearing it's ugly head. My husband chose to stay quiet & not say a word to me or anyone. That was dumb on his part. He had surgery that was the only option.

Could it be that you’re so used to getting the regular 2 a day job done nice and quick that you simply just get up before it’s all out?
If it leaks out that quick it could just be something left over that would normally land on the toilet paper?
And as you’ve said many a time, it always looks worse when it lands straight in to the water or onto some cloth.
I’ve never even noticed my internal hemmies but they are there. 2 of them!
So I don’t notice they are there in regards to itching etc.
But they could easily leak a little blood of scratched.

Have you felt around or taken a look? So strange. Hemorrhoids can usually be felt in some way, but so would anything else.

Possibly fissure or hemmie. I've never had a hemmie bleed except a thin streak on tp. But a fissure has bled much more once opened.
I agree to do a visual check.

Fissures hurt badly. I don't think you could have that without immense pain. I remember literally being close to tears on the toilet with 2 fissures. Scared crapless every time the urge came.

Again, no pain or discomfort which in my mind excludes the most likely suspects in expected manifestation (fissures, abscesses, and hemis). Did a visual check and didn't see anything unusual. No repeat today, as expected.

More curious why, rather then being concerned about the amount of blood. Need to get a flex-sig scheduled in the coming weeks, and will certainly ask the gastero doc to examine the sphincter/rectum and surrounding areas for anything I might have missed.

My fissure doesn't hurt, but it can feel kind of pinchy. Good that it's not continual and hat you're getting it checked out. Hemmies can be scratched and irritated by the enema nozzles, as per the anorectal doc I saw for butt tag removal.
