Drug free remission?!

I'm not a doctor (nor do I play one on TV) but I think the general gist is they can remove the offending cells from your blood and it will actually induce remission. Why is this not a thing? I would definitely give it a go!!

No, I'm in the US. I will ask my GI about it although I'm pretty sure what the answer will be already :-(

I have read many novel approaches to inducing UC remission over the years. Unfortunately most of them don't get major commercial funding because they aren't profitable. They don't want to cure us, they just want us to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on crappy medications that keep us alive but keep us sick.
