My gastro has thrown me off because I'm no longer allowed to use my miralax/dulcalx prep or Prep-o-pix. I am now required to use Suprep. I do my prep tomorrow. I bought a clear drink flavor enhancer (grape flavor). Would that help get the prep down? I have seen horror stories about Suprep.

I don't understand why fix what isn't broken. I've never NOT been completely cleaned out for a scope and all of a sudden, they change my prep b/c they say the preps I was doing don't work as well.

Suprep is already flavored and pretty sweet so I can't imagine adding a flavoring to it. I don't think it's too bad. I think it tastes like slightly salty black cherry soda. I suck on a lemon wedge after each drink and that takes the taste away completely. I like Suprep because it works super quickly for me. Just be sure to drink the recommended amount of water after you finish each dose.

I’ve done that one, it was fine. Lemon wedge is a good idea, I sipped on apple juice in between. I don’t think I’d add any flavor to it, salty soda is right. And drink lots of water or you might get sick.

Just make sure it's really cold. Makes a big difference.

I just did suprep for the first time two days ago. It really wasn’t too bad and I’m a big baby when it comes to flavored medicines. Miralax prep was probably a little better, but there was less to drink with suprep.

Did this a week ago... Don't plan on going out... Lol
I had both endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Hold your breath or nose when you drink it....helps
