Can someone recommend a quality psyllium seed powder? I am not familiar with the brands I've seen online.

I've used 3 different kinds and they have all worked the same.
I'm currently using the 'Now foods' brand from iherb.
I actually get the husks as apposed to powder.
I mix about
3 tablespoons in water 3 times a day before meals and drink it quickly
before it congeals too much.
It has actually been a life saver for me. It has gotten me into remeesion and kept
me there.
Its supposed to have a laxative effect but for me works jsut the opposite.
It took away all my bleeding too.
I was actually going to post about
it here...
Good luck!

Psyllium isn't considered a laxative, but it is a stool softener, stool bulker and it helps even peristalsis.
I've never used the psyllium seed, only the husks.

I use Starwest Seed powder and mix in a little Metamucil (about
5 parts seed powder to 1 part Metamucil). It helps the taste, psyllium by itself tastes like dirt. 2 spoonfuls per day in the morning.

Mountain Rose Herbs or Starwest Botanicals. I usually get 5lb once a year from Mountain Rose Herbs and if I finish that within one year, get Starwest Botanicals till I finish the year. I do this to avoid shipping costs with MRH.
