My GI believes I have crohns because it looks like I could have inflammation in the ileum, there certainly is severe inflammation there. This was spotted after I was diagnosed with UC and took suppositories only for two and a half years. Since the colonoscopy last July I’ve made a change in my diet and I’ve been taking 5asa orally and in suppositories. I’ve been doing very well since December. My GI said that she thinks I have crohns based on what she saw, but the biopsy was inconclusive so we’ll see.
So anyway, to answer your questions: yes, I have (or had) inflammation in the ascending colon that was worse than the sigmoid. Transverse colon was clear.
