After 7 great years, I am flairing again
I don’t think Remicade is working anymore and I am back on the dreaded prednisone. What is next after Remicade? I hope I will be able to have another 7 years of no symptoms again!!

Sorry to read this! Two things to talk to your dr about
, get your levels checked to see if you have developed antibodies to Remicade. Also, if you are getting 5kg every 8 weeks, you can be bumped up to 10kg. I have crohns, 10kg every 4 weeks was my magic bullet. So, don't throw in the towel yet on Remicade. Depending on the severity of this flare, keep in mind even with biologics they are not 100% flare proof, dang it.
If the dr decides to change you, there is Entyvio & Stelara, plenty of threads here to read about
them.
Stay on your dr about
this. Take care.

They did check for antibodies back and may and I was still good. Right now they are thinking at bumping my Remicade to every 4 weeks or to switch me to entyvio. I will find out more when I talk to my GI on the 10th of August.

I’m so sorry to hear you’re not feeling good. I hope you find the right meds soon. I am flaring as well and have been for a few months. It’s so frustrating but you are not alone.

I'd get a new remicade blood test see if your levels are low or Antibodies are present. Things can change between now and may.
