So , in flare one month, already tapering from 40-30 mg pred.

Have 3 naturo path friends that SWEAR by colloidal silver for inflammation reduction (before there were antibiotics, etc, there was silver.....which also poisoned and killed people and turned them blue :--)

Any experience here? Everything on internet says no / no proof / potential issues / heavy metal build up. The friends have been taking it in moderation, per dosage from Pure ( people united reaching everyone), daily, giving to their children for years, etc.

I'm just really wigged out on this one but they all are HUGE proponents.

*** not touting a cure at all ---- ADMINS - just looking for feedback.

Search the forum, it's been mentioned off-and-on over the years. Rather infrequently.

Me, I'd never take it. I'm a fan of scientific evidence over ancedotal stories.

Every age has its own kind of craziness. I believe that taking Colloidal Silver is craziness of modern age.

Do your naturopath friends have colitis or other major inflammatory conditions?
If they don't then they're probably not qualified to speak about what works for colitis.

I've had yoga teachers try to tell me how to reduce my inflammation (green juice, happy thoughts, gratitude, etc). As far as I'm concerned if they don't have colitis then they have no idea what this disease is about or what is happening in our bodies
