Deen, "Wet flatulence" = "shart", in language common to this forum when I joined back in 2007. It stands for mucus & stool coming out unexpectedly when one needs to expel gas. Sharts are usually early signs of a UC flare. I agree with Quincy that you had best remedy that with retention enemas. Those can get worse/more frequent & then lead to discharge of blood, besides. / Old Hat (40 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking Colazal)
