I am scheduled next week for my COVID shot and was just checking to see if anyone has had the shot yet??

Where do you live? I checked with my PCP and pharmacy last week and they didn't know when I could get it ... they said "maybe March".

I got the first shot, i'm on entyvio currently, I'm due for my second shot in a couple weeks
my GI said it's ok to take it even though i'm on entyvio
besides a very sore shoulder for 2 days, I had no other side effects (that I am aware of lol)
I'm an EMT in case you're wondering why I got it on first wave

I got my first shot the other day - I was eligible because my work expects me to visit hospitals and nursing homes.
My arm was less sore than it usually is from the annual flu shot. Otherwise I am fine. I have not noticed fatigue except that I have slept really well the two nights since the shot. (This is actually a good thing, lol.....) No issues with my J Pouch.

Calif just opened up to 65 and older. I got the Moderna vaccine yesterday. My arm is really sore today! Started last night. But my husbands is not. I usually get a slightly sore arm from flu vaccines. My advice is to get it in your dominant arm because the more you use it the quicker the pain works itself out. Other than that I haven’t noticed anything yet. I have a slight headache but that’s not unusual for me so hard to blame it on the vaccine.

Just had the Pfizer vaccine this morning. Everything ok so far. The shot did not hurt. Immediately after the shot my arm "tingled" and felt cold at the injection site-besides that nothing.

I ended up running a low grade temp. Started about 24 hrs after my injection. Took two tylenol and that took care of it. Felt fine the next day — maybe a trifle more tired but my arm was much less sore.

Had the first Moderna shot a week ago in SoFL, over 65. Only symptom was minor fatigue for a day. I'm on 4.8gms of mesalamine day.

I had my first shot yesterday. Pfizer my arm is a little sore but so far doing fine. Scheduled for second dose in 3 weeks.

The biggest health group where I live opened a website today to sign up for appointments to get the vaccine for age 65 and up and those with a variety of co-morbidties (including being on immune suppressant medications). The earliest I could get is 2/14. The website crashed a couple times due to the high volume of people trying to sign up. That's a good sign that people are getting it and it's the first ray of hope I have seen that we will get out of this.

I am glad you got signed up. Our sites are not working properly either. They are crashing, slow.. or you don't get a notification that it actually went thru. My sister is so frustrated that I am trying to help her. 😥 So frustrating.

My arm was sore for less than 24 hours. My 2 nieces (37-40 yo) have both had fevers, chills, headaches and vomiting with the Pfizer booster. My nephews-same age range-nada. (All front line medical workers)

I agree. I think the vaccine is so important for our survival and for economic recovery.

Did anyone hear anything about people not going back in for their 2nd shot? I can't imagine not going back in...(for me)..unless I had a severe reaction.
